There has been a lot in the press and on the news about the lack of support available for children and young people, this article (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65531686) highlights one young person’s difficulties in receiving much-needed help, support and relevant interventions. At ABL Health and within the Intensive Personalised Support Service (IPS), we are dedicated to making a real difference to the lives of children and young people every single day. Our Intensive Personalised Support service is specifically designed to prevent long-term stays in hospitals or entry into the residential care system.

How do we achieve this? Our service is rooted in providing comprehensive psychological and positive behaviour support aiming to create lasting change for children, young people, and their families. We empower them to navigate their current situations and pave the way for healthier, happier futures by improving their quality of life.

We understand the importance of early intervention and tailored care, which is why our team works tirelessly to ensure that each child and young person receives the individualised support they need. By addressing their specific needs and challenges, we strive to help them overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential.

We firmly believe every child deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Our Intensive Support Service is built upon this belief, and we are proud to be part of a compassionate and dedicated team that is making a positive impact on the lives of those we work with and alongside.

If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people, we invite you to join us on this fulfilling journey. Together, let’s create a brighter future for the next generation. To find out more about the work we do, contact the IPS Head of Service, Adele Yellow, MSc, BCBA, UK-BA (cert)
